What We Believe

“Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.”

~ Romans 8:18

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God. The Bible alone defines our faith and determines our everyday practice. It nourishes us like an excellent meal. We recommend you read it daily and live by what you read.  You’ll never be the same!

We believe in the one, true God – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Not three separate Gods but one God in three persons, the Holy Trinity. Jesus was and is fully God and fully man. We believe in the virgin birth and that Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life. He was crucified and was raised bodily from the dead. He ascended on high and is seated at the Father’s right hand.

We believe mankind has sinned and as a result, has died spiritually. This original and willful sin caused physical death and the fall of our world.

We believe man’s only hope is in Jesus Christ, His death on the cross, burial, and resurrection. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except by Him. Man is saved by repenting from their sin and having faith in Jesus resulting in the new birth. Jesus' precious blood cleanses us of sin. Salvation is by grace through faith and is evidenced by good works. We believe in and love the Holy Spirit Who indwells us and enables us to live lives that please God.

We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end. God made man in His own image! People with disabilities and their caregivers are very precious to God. The Bible says that God’s eye is on the sparrow and He sees and cares for each of us. When we serve the weak and hurting, it is as if we are serving Jesus Himself! Caregivers will not lose their reward!

Jesus is coming back again! We look forward to that day! His bodily appearance will be as literal and visible as His going away. He will judge the living and the dead. Both the saved and the lost will be resurrected. Those who are saved will be with Him for eternity. Those who have rejected Him will be cast into hell. All injustices will be made right. For the people of God, the best is yet to come! Come, Lord Jesus!
